My husband and I have 2 children, and it is just amazing how different they look from each other. One day I see myself in my youngest, the next day I think she looks like my husband’s sister. When we are at gatherings one person will look at my oldest and say, “I can’t believe how much she looks like you”. Then we’ll be some place new, bump into a friend and they will say “I can’t believe how much she looks like your husband”. Huh?
It’s fine. It doesn’t really bother me. I’ve always felt they are a perfect blend of us both. (But their intensity? That’s not from me, no way, nuh-uh ;-> )
A fun program I’ve been asked to try is the Baby Look-alike Meter from My Heritage Family Tree Software. What you do is Upload photos of a baby/child and both parents, in any arrangement. The free Look-alike Meter utilizes state-of-the-art face recognition technology to determine who the child resembles most. Once you get the results you can save them to any blog or social network, such as Facebook, in a few clicks.
My husband and I downloaded our pics and took bets on the results. (We also added pics of celebrities. It was silly but hysterical!) It turns out our oldest is an even blend of our facial features, while our youngest takes a bit more from her mother. (I knew it!)
Have some fun and try the Baby Look-alike Meter from My Heritage. It just might help settle a debate once and for all!
